About Jerome Preisler

A lifelong Yankee fan, Jerome Preisler has authored almost 30 books of fiction and nonfiction, including the #1 New York Times best-selling TOM CLANCY?S POWER PLAYS series. The 2009 baseball season marks Jerome?s fifth year as a columnist for YESNetwork.com.

Jerome?s major work of narrative history, ALL HANDS DOWN: The True Story of the Soviet Attack on the USS Scorpion (Simon and Schuster), will be reissued in mass market paperback by Pocket Books in August, 2009. He has spoken as a military history expert on radio and television, including an appearance on last summer?s TITANIC: The Final Secret for the National Geographic Channel.

He is currently writing his second original novel based on the hit TV series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. His first, NEVADA ROSE, was released by Pocket Books in June ?08.

With his wife, Suzanne, Jerome is the pseudonymous co-author of two crime/mystery series. Their GRIME SOLVERS mysteries (Signet/Obsidian) include SCENE OF THE GRIME, DIRTY DEEDS and this summer?s NOTORIOUSLY NEAT. They are presently working on the first book of their NASHVILLE KATZ series (Kensington), featuring native New Yorker Gwen Katz, who inherits the only kosher deli in Nashville and finds a menu full of murder and mystery.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Jerome held some of the lousiest jobs known to man?and then some?before selling his first thriller, THE PACT, in 1989. He now divides his time between New York City and coastal New England, where he does his best to irritate Red Sox Nation with his reporting and commentary from Deep in the Red.
